Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge showcases Logic talent!

On Tuesday, 25th February 2025, we were proud and privileged to showcase the incredible talent that Logic students have to offer during the Hounslow Regional Final of Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge. An incredible collaboration between the Jack Petchey Foundation and the Speaker’s Trust, this event allows students from across London to represent their schools by speaking on a topic they feel passionately about.

In October, we were fortunate enough to welcome facilitators from Speaker’s Trust to work with Year 10. Over the course of the day, students were supported in writing, memorising, and performing a speech on a topic that was important to them. This culminated in the school final before the February half-term, where Year 10 students Rishta, Lily, Safa and Anthony bravely took to the stage and competed for their place in the regional final.

Logic was represented by Anthony, whose speech, entitled Nothing Matters, explored nihilism and the futility of life, prompting the audience to question whether anything truly matters. Anthony spoke eloquently about his topic, and we couldn’t be prouder!
